Scholarship Application Process

Listed below are all scholarships available to Iowa-Grant High School students, sorted by application type.

Most scholarship funds have specific eligibility requirements established by the donor, such as enrollment at a particular high school or specialization in a particular field of study. Also, most scholarship funds base selection on financial need, academic performance, extracurricular activities, volunteer/community service, or other talents.

Thomas B. and Grace Stevenson Jones Charitable Scholarship

Available to students from: Argyle High School, Barneveld High School, Belmont High School, Benton High School, Black Hawk High School, Boscobel High School, Cassville High School, Cuba City High School, Darlington High School, Dodgeville High School, Fennimore High School, Highland High School, Iowa-Grant High School, Lancaster High School, Mineral Point High School, Platteville High School, Riverdale High School, Shullsburg High School, Southwestern High School
Eligibility: For students who will be attending an accredited college, university or technical school. Must have minimum 2.5 GPA.

Glen and Connie Gard Family Scholarship

Available to students from: Iowa-Grant High School
Eligibility: For students who will be attending an accredited college, university or technical school. Student must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale). Preference may be given for financial need.

Charles & William Young Endowed Scholarship

Available to students from: Iowa-Grant High School, Platteville High School
Eligibility: Established to assist graduating seniors from Platteville or Iowa-Grant High School who will be pursuing study in the field of nursing at an accredited college, university or technical school. The student must be ranked in the top 1/3 of his/her graduating class. Preference may be given for financial need, but is not a restriction. Scholarship may be renewable for 1 year.

Christianson Family Scholarship

Available to students from: Iowa-Grant High School
Eligibility: For students pursuing an education at an accredited college/technical school. Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Preference may be given for involvement in the community. Preference may be given for financial need.

Doug & Janice Steinback Family Scholarship

Available to students from: Argyle High School, Barneveld High School, Belmont High School, Benton High School, Black Hawk High School, Boscobel High School, Cassville High School, Cuba City High School, Darlington High School, Dodgeville High School, Fennimore High School, Highland High School, Iowa-Grant High School, Ithaca High School, Lancaster High School, North Crawford High School, Platteville High School, Potosi High School, Prairie du Chien High School, Richland Center High School, Riverdale High School, Shullsburg High School, Southwestern High School, Weston High School
Eligibility: Established to assist students from Southwest Wisconsin (graduates of a Grant, Iowa, Lafayette, Crawford or Richland county high school) who intend to pursue a degree in the field of agriculture, life science, biology and/or chemistry. The applicant must have achieved a high school cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale). Preference may be given to students who also demonstrated involvement in community and school activities. Preference may be given to students with financial need.

Dr. Dennis and Marilyn Carr Scholarship

Available to students from: Iowa-Grant High School
Eligibility: Eligibility guidelines include: 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale; students shall be pursuing a degree in a pre-professional field including the health professions, law and/or veterinary medicine or a degree in education; preference may be given to a student with financial need, defined as from a family whose income is at or below the median income for the area (Iowa or Grant County, WI)

IGEF Scholarship

Available to students from: Iowa-Grant High School
Eligibility: To provide for post high school educational opportunities for young people graduating from Iowa-Grant High School. Eligibility includes: Student must rank in the top 50% of the class OR have a GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Preference may be given for financial need but is not a restriction.

Iowa-Grant High School J. Bruce & Margaret Bradley Endowed Scholarship

Available to students from: Iowa-Grant High School
Eligibility: To provide for post high school educational opportunities for young people who are graduates of Iowa-Grant High School, Livingston WI. Eligibility guidelines include: a) Formal application for scholarship through the high school guidance department, b) Proof of acceptance by the identified post-secondary institution.

James E. Schroeder Endowed Scholarship

Available to students from: Iowa-Grant High School
Eligibility: For students who will attend an accredited college, university or technical school and intend to study in the field of agriculture and/or agricultural related fields.

Mae E. Austin Memorial Scholarship Endowment

Available to students from: Iowa-Grant High School
Eligibility: For students who will attend an accredited college, university or technical school. Student must have a GPA of 2.5-3.5.

Millard “Mick” Gundlach Agriculture Scholarship Endowment

Available to students from: Iowa-Grant High School
Eligibility: For students who will attend an accredited college, university or technical school. Student must demonstrate active participation of 2-3 years in a high school agriculture program and/or Future Farmers of America program. Student must participate at least one semester their senior year. Preference may be given to a student intending to farm or become a teacher in an agriculture-related field.

Platteville Consumers Cooperative Scholarship

Available to students from: Belmont High School, Benton High School, Cuba City High School, Darlington High School, Iowa-Grant High School, Lancaster High School, Platteville High School, Shullsburg High School, Southwestern High School
Eligibility: Established to benefit graduating seniors of the high schools within the association’s market area: Belmont, Benton, Cuba City, Darlington, Iowa-Grant, Lancaster, Platteville, Shullsburg, and Southwest Wisconsin Communities High School. Students must be pursuing post-high school education in the field of agriculture or agribusiness.

Robert Graber Endowed Scholarship

Available to students from: Iowa-Grant High School
Eligibility: For students who plan to study any aspect of the field of agriculture. Preference may be given for financial need, but it is not a restriction.

Robert & Martha Klindt Memorial Scholarship

Available to students from: Iowa-Grant High School
Eligibility: For graduating seniors from Iowa-Grant High School who will attend an accredited college university or technical school.

Thomas & Mary Jane Limmex Endowed Scholarship

Available to students from: Iowa-Grant High School
Eligibility: For students who will attend an accredited college, university or technical school. Preference may be given for financial need and to students that have demonstrated activity in their school and community.
