PHS Scholarship Fund

The mission of the PHS Scholarship Fund is to provide higher education scholarships for Platteville High School graduates.

The Fund was founded in 2010 after a study by members of the Platteville Community Fund Advisory Board revealed that scholarship support for Platteville students was significantly less than that for students at peer Wisconsin schools. The study also highlighted the issue of rising college costs.
The PHS Scholarship Fund is led by an advisory board comprised of Platteville citizens. The Board leads fundraising efforts and determines the annual scholarship awards.

Our Goal

The PHS Scholarship Fund aims to provide significant levels of scholarships for Platteville High School graduates while also building endowments to ensure future funding.  Ultimately, the Fund hopes to reach a point where all deserving student applicants receive scholarships to pursue their post-secondary dreams.

How You Can Help

We seek and welcome private donations from all community-minded citizens, organizations, and businesses.
There are many ways to give:
  • Outright gifts.  You may make a contribution to the Fund that is tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
  • Bequest.  You can create a lasting legacy by including the Fund in your will. An estate gift allows you to make a much larger impact than might be possible during your lifetime.
  • Tribute.  You may make a gift in honor or in memory of someone special. This is a wonderful way to thank a special teacher, remember a loved one, or thank the Platteville School District for making a difference in the lives of your children and the community.
