Platteville Community Fund Invites You to “A Night in P-Vegas”

It’s nearly unbelievable that November and the beginning of the holiday season are just around the corner!

Act now to kick-off your 2016 holidays by attending “A Night in P-Vegas” Friday, November 4, 2016   This special casino night event is sponsored by the Platteville Community Fund.

In speaking about the event, PCF board chair Nathan Curry noted, “Our goal is to create a fun-filled night that celebrates our community.”

Tickets for the event are $50 per person and are on sale from any PCF board member and at 190 Market St.  The ticket includes a sit-down dinner, adult beverages, gaming tables, and a live auction.  The event venue is Velzy Commons, Ullsvik Hall, UW-Platteville.

Co-organizer Ed Faherty noted, “So many businesses in our community are assisting with this event.  Game table sponsors include American Family Insurance – Robb Paquette; Badger Brothers; Busch Insurance Agency; Faherty, Inc; Kopp McKichan, LLP; New York Life Insurance Company – Louise Brockman; Novus Glass; Pioneer Ford; Pioneer Property Management; Platteville A&W?State Theatres; Rosemeyer Jones Chiropractic; Schneller Properties; Snap Fitness; TC Networks; TRICOR Insurance; Truck Country of Shullsburg; Ubersox Auto Group; and Vaassen Pluemer CPAs.  We’ve also recruited a few ‘celebrity dealers’.  It should be fun to see these folks who serve our community on a daily basis in their new capacity!”

In addition to trying your hand at games like blackjack, roulette, and craps you’ll be able to bid on some outstanding auction items and deposit your tickets for a chance to claim some great prizes.

The evening of November 4 promises to be a night to remember.  Put on some glitz and join the fun.  Ticket sales will conclude on October 28.
