Grants Available from the Evansville Fund

The Evansville Fund, a component of the community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin is now accepting grant applications from not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organizations that provide direct service to the Evansville community, from schools in the Evansville School District to support classroom programs or projects and from local government entities providing charitable programs Evansville. Requests from individuals are not eligible.

The Evansville Fund looks for projects or programs that support current community need in the areas of the arts, education, historic preservation, and health and human service. Grants typically range from $500 to $2,000.  Grants will be awarded from the Evansville Fund, Millie Tait Fund, Susan Eager Fund, Clifford & Jeanette Fellows Fund, Dr Roger & Elizabeth Gray Fund, Alvin & Dorothy Helgesen Family Fund, Meals on Wheels Fund, and the Richard & Elaine Strassburg Fund.

Grant application forms are available www.cfsw.org under Quick Links. All applications must be received at the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin’s office no later than 4PM, TUESDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2013.

The Evansville Fund Advisory Board will review the grant applications on October 15.  Evansville Fund Advisory Board Members include Barb George, Bill Hartje, Pat Larson, Gene Miller, Rene Johnson, Nancy Nelson, chair, Matt Poock
