Grants Available From Benton Community Fund

The Benton Community Fund is now accepting grant applications.  The application deadline is July 1, 2014.

The Benton Fund is accepting applications for projects that serve the greater Benton area.    Projects may include enhancement of parks and public spaces, historic and cultural preservation, youth activities and facilities, education, the arts, and health and human services.  Applications are accepted from non-profit organizations only.  Requests from individuals for personal projects or needs are not allowed under the federal tax laws.

A local, volunteer advisory board will review the grant applications and recommend grant awards.  Grants will be awarded during the Benton Labor Day weekend celebration on Saturday night, August 30th.   Current members of the Benton Community Fund include:   Jill Knight, Rick Lawrence, Gary McCrea, Dirk Milestone, Pat Neis, Michelle Savatski, Renee Wartner, Chuck Wartner, and Steffanie Nemitz.
