Community Foundation Hires Jackson as New President/CEO

JANESVILLE, WI. –The Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin (CFSW) announces the recent hiring of its President/CEO following the departure of Ann Heiden who left the position last October. Wyatt Jackson, of Milltown Indiana, will be responsible for leading the organization’s mission, policies, donor development, strategy, and financial objectives.

Jackson comes to the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin from the Community Foundation of Crawford County (CFCC) in southern Indiana, where he served as the Programs and Operations Manager. Prior to this position, Jackson served as the CFCC Interim Director, Dubois County Community Foundation Lilly Endowment Graduate Intern, an assistant to the Indiana University Foundation President, intern within IU Foundation’s Corporate Relations Department, and member of the IU Student Foundation’s Little 500 Steering Committee. He has served on the Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis Division of Student Affairs development team and brings experience in nonprofit curriculum and development from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy’s The Fundraising School.

“I’m thrilled to join the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin. Over the course of my career, I’ve had the opportunity to be part of several strong organizations and I know this experience will be even more amazing,” said Jackson. “I look forward to the opportunity to engage with my new community and help provide opportunities for achieving the vision our donors and our community members have for all of Southern Wisconsin,” he said.

Jackson is currently a doctoral student with the Indiana University School of Education’s Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs Program. He holds a Master of Arts in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis, as well as a Bachelor Arts in Anthropology and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Indiana University – Bloomington. Jackson will start at the Community Foundation on March 15.
