Green County Memorial Park Receives Grant for Honor Plaque

linda vietnam memGreen County Memorial Park, Inc. announces that it has received a grant from the Clifford & Dorothy Reasa Charitable Fund Of the Monroe Fund, a component of the Community Foundation  of Southern Wisconsin, Inc. for  a Vietnam Veterans Bronze Plaque. The plaque was dedicated on November 15, 2015 at the Green County Veteran Memorial Park located at the Pleasant View Park Complex. Along with a grant from the Monroe Fund also contributing to the plaque were Wisconsin Vietnam Chapter 3, New Glarus VFW Post 10549, Brodhead American Legion, and MOC Pup Tent 14.

This grant is made available from the Community Foundation’s Clifford & Dorothy Reasa Charitable Fund of the Monroe Fund. The Clifford & Dorothy Reasa Charitable Fund of the Monroe Fund is a resource for area nonprofit organizations whose programs and services are working for the betterment of our communities. Grants from the Clifford & Dorothy Reasa Charitable Fund of the Monroe Fund have supported the arts, education, environment, health and human services and historical preservation.
