2011 Pecatonica EIE Awards
In 2011 the Advisory Board of the Blanchardville/Hollandale Community Fund made the first awards from the Pecatonica Excellence in Education Fund. The Pecatonica Area School District received $2,865 for technology improvements that included the purchase of Ipads, laptops, a wireless router and a Smart Board.
About
The Pecatonica Excellence in Education (EIE) Fund is an endowment fund that provides private resources for the support the Pecatonica Area Schools. Fund resources are used to enhance educational programs, offer extended educational opportunities, encourage innovation, and recognize the achievements of students and staff. The Fund was established in 2010 with donations from Blanchardville/Hollandale area citizens.
The Pecatonica EIE Fund is led by the advisory board of the Blanchardville/Hollandale Community Fund operating independently of the school district. The advisory board leads fundraising efforts and determines the annual grant awards.

Donations to the Pecatonica EIE Fund are welcome at any time of the year. All gifts are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Visit the Ways to Give section of this website for information on planning your gift, or you can make an online donation.
Grants
Once per year the advisory board awards grants to the local school district for projects and/or programs that fall outside of the confines of the District's operating budget. Grants are awarded at a ceremony in May.
