2011 Monroe EIE Awards
The Advisory Board of the Monroe Excellence in Education Fund awarded $5,590 to the School District of Monroe for four awards:
- Pro Tools 9 Software – Musical Software
- Miscroscopy & Measurement – Steroscopes
- Positive Behavioral Intervention & Supports
- ELL Literacy Backpacks – English Language Learners 4K - 5
About
Since its founding in 2000, the Monroe Excellence in Education Fund, combined with the Monroe High School Class of 1949 and Class of 1977 funds, have awarded more than $100,000 to the School District of Monroe.

Donations to the Monroe EIE Fund are welcome at any time of the year. All gifts are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Visit the Ways to Give section of this website for information on planning your gift, or you can make an online donation.
Grants
Once per year the advisory board awards grants to the local school district for projects and/or programs that fall outside of the confines of the District's operating budget. Grants are awarded at a ceremony in June.
