The Monroe Fund is a permenent endowment fund established by current and former residents of the Monroe Community. It allows a means for citizens to pursue their philanthropic desire to provide for the betterment of the Monroe community. There are many ways that you can donate to the fund such as cash, appreciated stocks, insurance plans and charitable bequests just to name a few. All gifts large or small are greatly appreciated and assuredly will go to help a good cause in the Monroe area.

Jack and Marian Kundert stand on deck of the Green County Family YMCA pool.  Through the Dr. Fred and Alice Kundert Charitable Trust, (Jack’s father and Mother) the Green County Family YMCA recently received $1,000 to aid in the expense of upgrading the YMCA pool to meet the new drain standards required by the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act.  The total cost of the pool drain upgrade is about $10,000 and will be done in May of 2010.  The Dr. Fred and Alice Kundert Charitable Trust is administered thru The Monroe Fund and the Community Fund of Southern Wisconsin.
 
 
 2009 Monroe Fund Advisory Board Approves Grants Over $30,000 

The 2009 Grants Reception was held at the Monroe Arts Center.  Refreshments were provided by Swiss Colony, Monroe Clinic & Culligan Water Conditioning.  Grants were presented to the following organizations:
