The
Lancaster Community Fund
is a permanent unrestricted charitable endowment dedicated to serving the Lancaster community. The Fund is comprised of donations made by all types of people, both current and former residents who feel the need to give something back to the community of Lancaster. Donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by the law.

The Fund provides means for individuals, organizations and businesses to support their charitable interests through funds that focus on special interests such as the elderly, historic preservation, the arts, the environment, and education. 
 
The fund works through grants determined by an eight member advisory board that reviews prospective applicants that meet all requirements such as being a non-profit organization, encouraging community growth, and serving the community of Lancaster.
