Additional Scholarships

The following scholarships are open to current year high school graduates regardless of school:

Rock Prairie United Presbyterian Church Scholarship
For current and past high school graduates.  Must be an active member of the Rock Prairie United Presbyterian Church and have demonstrated Christian values through church involvement and community service.
 
Wilson Rawls Scholarship
For current graduates who are literary-minded and reside in the United States.  Candidate must have a GPA of 3.5 throughout all four years of high school.
 

Non-traditional Scholarships

The following scholarships are open to students who have already completed their high school education: 


Janesville Multicultural Teacher Opportunities Scholarship (JMTOS) 
To assist persons of color who intend to teach in the School District of Janesville.  Applicants must be working towards K4-12 teaching certification and be identified as African American, Latino, Asian, or Native American on school registration forms.

Joseph B. Schrock, MD, Memorial Scholarship
For past graduates of Elkhorn Area High School or Big Foot High School studying music or health education. Must have a 3.0 GPA.

Ronald J. Jelinek Memorial Fund for Welding Education

For past high school graduates wanting to learn or improve their welding skills. Application is open to anyone living in Rock County, Wis.
 
Rock Prairie United Presbyterian Church Scholarship
For current and past high school graduates.  Must be an active member of the Rock Prairie United Presbyterian Church and have demonstrated Christian values through church involvement and community service.
 
Thelma Blackbourn Memorial Scholarship
For past graduates of Monroe High School who are studying the field of education.
