2011 Evansville EIE Awards

In November, 2011, the Advisory Board of the Evansville EIE Fund made one award to the Evansville Community School District for the Evansville School Forest.

About

The Evansville Excellence in Education (EIE) Fund is a publicly supported, community-based endowment that celebrates and supports creative programs and projects improving the way we prepare our children for their future.

Evansville EIE is dedicated to:

  • Sustaining and extending excellence in Evansville public schools.
  • Providing funding for creative initiatives.
  • Investing in quality education for today’s student and future generations.

Evansville EIE was started with seed money from the Evansville High School Class of 1967 and the Evansville Fund Advisory Board.

Grants are awarded annually to benefit students, teachers, and the K-12 community as a whole. An advisory board raises funds for the endowment and recommends projects for the grant distribution.

To Donate

Donations to the Evansville EIE Fund are welcome at any time of the year. All gifts are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Visit the Ways to Give section of this website for information on planning your gift, or you can make an online donation.

Grants

Once per year the advisory board awards grants to the local school district for projects and/or programs that fall outside of the confines of the District's operating budget. Grants are awarded at a ceremony in November.

Annual grant application deadline: October 1
(When the date falls on a weekend or holiday, the deadline will be the next business day.)
