(comments from Mrs Redalen’s 7th grade FCE classes)

I learnedthat insurance is important and what gross income is / you pay more when you use a credit card

I was surprisedthat money is deducted from every paycheck / a budget can help you save money

I promiseto use credit cards wisely / to stay in school

I now realizeplanning for the future is important

I’m feelingbetter now that I know these skills / smarter about my future

The Edgerton Community Fund was created by and for the Edgerton Community to keep Edgerton a thriving place, able to support its people in need and maintain a quality of life which encourages a love of culture, education, the arts, and the land.

The Edgerton Community Fund: Established in 2001 the Edgerton Community Fund is a permanent financial resource that enriches lives and strengthens the community.  For some it has become part of annual gift giving, and for others, wisely planned income and/or estate reduction plans.  Gifts to the Fund improve the entire community, or a particular area of charitable interest.

·        Is a means for current and former residents to build a permanent endowment to serve the Edgerton area.

·        Provides current and future generations a way to support their most creative thinking as they address the changing needs within the Edgerton community.

·        Supports projects and programs in the Arts, Education, Environment, Health & Human Services, and Historic Preservation.

·        Provides a way for individuals, organizations, and businesses to support their charitable interests.
