Darlington Area Community Fund
Charitable Giving:
-
FOR the Darlington area...
-
FROM the people who love our Community and its heritage...
-
TO keep the greater Darlington area a thriving place...
For Good. For Ever.
The Darlington Community Fund is a means for current and former residents to build a permanent unrestricted endowment to serve the area. Its growth and success depends on people like you who share a commitment to invest in the community of Darlington to meet charitable, educational, historical and cultural needs.

The fund works through grants that are determined by an advisory board consisting of volunteers from the Darlington area. The board decides upon grants that meet the requirement of being for a non-profit, charitable organization and serving the good of the community.

A highlight of the Darlington Community Fund is the Excellence in Education Fund that focuses on inspiring teachers and students at all levels to accomplish their very best by encouraging and promoting creative and innovative educational programs and recognizing and rewarding outstanding achievement.
The Darlington Excellence in Education Fund is independent from the School District of Darlington and is guided by a board of advisors consisting of volunteer community leaders, business partners and educators.
Donations to the funds can be made in many forms including cash, credit card, stock, real estate or property. All donations large or small are graciously appreciated, tax deductible, and will go to good use as a part of the Darlington Community Fund.
