On October 17, 1993, a proclamation officially changed Cuba’s City’s slogan to the “City of Presidents.” Proudly, the colorful red, white, and blue shields of all U.S. presidents line Cuba City’s Main Street. This “Parade of Presidents” is one of the longest lasting bicentennial projects remaining in the U.S. and one that speaks to the pride and honor felt by the very individuals, businesses and organizations that help make Cuba City notable.
The Cuba City—City of Presidents Endowment Fund will provide permanent, long-term support for this distinction, in addition to other admirable projects such as water tower lettering, the Veterans Memorial, the Presidential Courtyard and the Main Street Shields and U.S. Flags.
